I also work with growing non-profits to develop strategic plans and fundraise.

My end goal is for staff members to be involved in decision making and receive training in managing the systems that are developed, without increasing their burden, so they can continue to prioritize clients.

  • I can help with grant planning, writing, and tracking. I have raised over $5 million in funds for non-profits and managed the grants, once funded.

  • After compliance systems are developed, I will work with staff and board members to ensure understanding of basic non-profit management. I will create customized training, tailored to your organizational systems.

  • I am NOT a bookkeeper, but am fluent in bookkeeping language. I have experience in Quickbooks and can support basic bookkeeping and grant tracking, alongside your bookkeeper.

  • I am a HUD certified housing counselor and I know how many pieces are required to be in compliance with HUD. I have developed and managed these systems and processes with staff to ensure understanding and compliance.

  • I ran an Individual Development Account program for many years and understand the many nuances and considerations that come with managing an IDA program.

  • The majority of my experience is with small and growing non-profits. I understand that there is a different type of support that is needed, as these organizations are often looking to build a strong foundation, so they can grow in the future.

  • I have experience with state, federal, and foundation level grants, with the most experience on the state level. This includes setting up data tracking and support systems to ensure grant guidelines are being followed.

  • I have worked with a non-profit on the Warm Springs Indian Reservation since 2015. Combined with an education in community development, I understand what it takes to empower people, businesses, and communities on a grassroots level.

  • I have used a variety of methods for tracking, including Excel, Google Sheets, and Monday.com. I have the most expertise with Outcome Tracker for both IDA and HUD programming. I can provide training and support in understanding the system and utilizing it well.
